A while ago my fantastic partner was looking at me browsing some Magic cards, and she declared that they were basically all “cats with sticks”.
So, now I’m here, working on a micro-RPG called (you guessed it) Cats with Sticks.
I’ve got the text to the point where there’s a rules-light system, and some hints at a setting. I just need to find a couple of free or cheap pictures to illustrate it and do the layout.
Expect it to be released in a week or two (with codes to get it free for patrons).
In other news, I’m also working on a simple abstract board game, that I hope has the depth to be worth publishing. It’s the sort of thing that could plausibly be a fantasy world’s equivalent of nine-men’s-morris, or backgammon. If it works, that is. More on that in another post.
